We’re delighted to welcome Alex van Besouw from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) to this webinar.
As Deputy Director of the Business Engagement Unit, Alex leads work to ensure that engagement with business across DBT and wider Government is strategic, coherent and responsive. He has also recently joined the TAF Board. In this session, Alex will share insights on DBT’s key priorities, outline how trade associations can align with the Government’s growth agenda, and take questions from members.
Alex began his career at the CBI before joining a fast-growing furniture start-up. Since entering government, he has held a number of senior roles, including Deputy Principal Private Secretary to the Minister for the Cabinet Office and Deputy Director for Civil Service Strategy.
TAF was established by Government in the late 1990s and continues to maintain a strong and productive relationship with DBT.
