The Trade Association Forum (TAF) has teamed up with Climate Action for Associations (CAFA) to offer TAF members a programme for measuring, reporting, and recommending a transition plan to reduce emissions and reach net zero. CAFA’s service guides trade associations through comprehensive emissions calculation, reporting, action planning, and target-setting, while also identifying cost savings along the way.

What You Will Get:
- Data Collection: Each year we will identify and gather relevant emissions data, starting with Scope 1 and 2, increasing Scope 3 category data collection over time. We’ll gather data in timed periods e.g., annually, six-monthly, quarterly.
- Emissions Calculation: We measure and calculate your carbon footprint, establish your baseline, and continuously measure and compare your data.
- Report Creation: We provide a report compliant with GHG, SECR, and ISO Net Zero Guidelines, detailing your CO2e emissions, actions taken, and progress made, enabling effective communication.
- Action Plans: We collaborate with you to recommend, create and implement a reduction plan with interim targets and timelines that align with your business strategy and emissions report.
- Additional Resources: We offer simple templates and resources and are available to answer any questions you may have.
- Communications: We assist in reporting and communicating your progress to your board, staff, suppliers, partners, and members, and conduct engagement workshops with key stakeholders.
