Job title: Membership Support Advisor

Location: Home based
Salary: £21K, phone and internet allowance, staff pension scheme, travel expenses when required.
We are recruiting a highly motivated individual, with an ability to integrate and contribute to a dedicated, supportive team while working remotely as our Membership Support Advisor.
About the Role
You will be responsible for dealing with and supporting our members with day-to-day queries in their businesses. In addition, a key part of the role will be to assist the IBVTA in its communication.
Developing the IBVTA’s engagement with existing and potential members at trade events will be an added function of this role when required. Travel and expenses will be provided.
You will be responsible for
· Managing the IBVTA’s dedicated membership advice line
· Answering our members’ questions and assisting and supporting them on issues such as compliance
· Utilising our suite of business supports to ensure our members’ issues are dealt with swiftly and satisfactorily
· Acting as a liaison with the IBVTA’s secretariat and our members
· Handling the administration of new members through the application process
· Contributing to the organisation’s internal communication with members
· Other duties as required
This role will be home based, but may require occasional visits to the Westminster office.
You will be knowledgeable about vaping and the independent vaping industry, a customer-centric ‘people person’ with excellent customer service skills as well as a confident and friendly telephone manner. You will have a strong attention to detail and an ability to time-manage in a home-based role. You will have flexibility and a willingness to undertake a range of duties and be a good team worker.
The IBVTA is the professional voice for the UK’s independent vape industry and is the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the independent sector. All IBVTA members are free from any ownership or control by the tobacco or pharmaceutical industries. The mission of IBVTA is to provide credible knowledge and guidance to support the independent vaping sector and promote constructive interaction between this industry sector and the scientific community, vapers, regulators, policy makers, and the general public. IBVTA fosters research and manufacturing excellence in order to deliver a robust yet proportionate consumer regulatory landscape that adequately reflects the needs of vaping stakeholders and recognises vaping as a sector in its own right.
