Member Relations Account Manager – The NCC (National Caravan Council)

Based in Aldershot and working within a small but friendly team this is an ideal role for someone with proven experience of prospecting and retaining Trade Association membership.  With an established base of existing members we are looking to recruit someone who is able to bring fresh ideas to the organisation, engage with our current members to aid retention and proactively seek out new membership opportunities. An interest in the leisure vehicle industry may be beneficial but is not essential

This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday 9am – 5.15pm

Duties will include;

Proactively engaging and rapport building with our members.

Increasing member retention

Actively seeking out prospective new members

Identifying commercial and marketing opportunities

Administrative tasks including ensuring that member records are up to date

Skills and Attributes Required;

Experience of B2B account management and retention

Although not a sales role, evidence of experience of the sales process and how to apply it is required

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Organised and with high attention to detail

Positive ‘can – do’ approach

Confident dealing with members

Self-motivated and willing to identify and take ownership of new challenges

Experience of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Dynamics an advantage but not essential

You will be a confident self-starter with excellent people skills who enjoys a challenge and relishes the opportunity to build relationships with a varied and interesting customer base. You will be willing and able to identify and nurture potential new applicants whilst looking after our valued existing membership.
