JOB TITLE: Marketing and Schemes Manager

The British Woodworking Federation is the leading representative body for the woodworking and joinery manufacturing industry in the UK. The organisation has grown to now represent over 700 members drawn from manufacturers, distributors and installers of timber doors, windows, conservatories, staircases, all forms of architectural joinery, as well as suppliers to the industry.
Our Build it Better with Wood strategy looks at a growing and improving market and to deliver it to its full effect we need to engage more effectively with our various audiences and vitally with our own membership community to harness our crowd and deliver tangible commercial results.
The Schemes and Marketing Manager has a vital role in lead the programmes of our Stairs Scheme and Fire Door Alliance (including co-ordinating the award winning Fire Door Safety Week Campaign) and to develop the reputation of the BWF, our marketing schemes and ultimately our members in the marketplace. The role is a critical liaison point between the BWF team, the members and the marketplace and will work closely with the selected PR and Marketing agency ensuring we deliver for the members within the budget.
This is a hands-on role that will require some account management, excellent written and verbal communications skills and the underlying belief that we can change the world.
It is expected that the role will be based at the BWF Head office in the Building Centre in Central London, however, some travel within the UK will be expected and location may this may be negotiable for the right candidate.
